About Me
I was born and raised in South Africa and moved to the UK when I was 18. I've lived and work here ever since.
I've been a rescuer all my life. It started with animals, nature conservation, pet rescue, first aid, and it's developed to people and their businesses. I've been a practicing specialist insolvency solicitor for 14 years and counting, advising Insolvency Practitioners, founders, directors, shareholders and lenders on all aspects of insolvency. I've worked the hours, the all-nighters, the missed holidays, birthdays, life moments. I've burned myself out helping others before looking after myself and my mental and physical health, my relationships, all suffered.
Since the wake-up call of COVID, I realised there was another way.
That I had to put my own oxygen mask on before helping others.
Since I've put my own values, health and well-being first, I've been able to design the business and lifestyle that energises and rewards me.
Now I help people like me, Insolvency Professionals who need to change their lives and their businesses before it's too late.

What We Do
I believe life is an adventure and our work is part of that adventure. I work with Insolvency Professionals because I've been there and I understand the world you inhabit. I know what it's like to put everyone else's needs ahead of our own.
Working with me is slightly different for each person, depending on your specific needs. Sometimes I'm a trusted advisor, sometimes I'm a consultant, sometimes a coach or a mentor. It all starts with a conversation where we see if we get along and can work together. If it feels right for both of us and we want to work together then we will work out the programme, your commitment, your investment and the timescales we will work within. Most engagements last a minimum of 12 weeks.
We will:
- Define your values
- Understand your context (limiting beliefs)
- Prepare your vivid vision for work and life
- Use your vision and values to design your perfect business
- Make a plan to deliver that vision, working on your business, your relationships, your physical and mental wellbeing
- Execute, Execute, Execute and see the progress
Is it easy? No. Change is difficult and the journey has its ups and downs. But, not changing, ultimately, is harder. You have to be willing to commit, to invest in yourself and to do the hard work and make the hard choices to deliver your vision and live the life you dreamed of.
